Colombian super star Carlos Vives repeated the feat again by debuting #1 the week of its release to radio in the US & Puerto Rico , reaching the # 1 on the Billboard's Latin Airplay Chart with " El Mar De Sus Ojos ," the first single from his upcoming album " Más + Corazón Profundo " .

SUMMA Promotions & Vives manage to repeat history by accomplishing the same amazing success they had first week of release with " Volví a nacer " (first single) from his last album " Corazón Profundo ". The single , counts with the collaboration of artist ChocQuibTown. Song also reached # 1 on iTunes in Colombia and top digital sales in the U.S.

" El Mar De Sus Ojos " has achieved critical acclaim. Composed by Carlos Vives and Hugo Huertas (H2 ) , this song has a unique sound that connects the Caribbean with the Colombian Pacific . Song was produced by renowned Grammy winner Andres Castro.

This Tuesday Vives will be awarded the President's Award at the BMI Latin Awards Gala in Las Vegas where he will be honored for his compositions and contributions to music during his career.

The new album " Más + Corazón Profundo " comes out on May 13 in the U.S. and Latin America.
